02 May Refreshing Honeybush Iced Tea Recipe
Skip all the extra added sugar in store-bought iced tea by making your own! This home-made version is far healthier and so simple to make.
Preparation time: 10 min.
1 L (4 cups) water
Juice of 2 lemons
1 t. peeled fresh ginger, finely grated (optional)
Mint leaves for garnish
1. Place the honeybush tea bags and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and allow mixture to steep for about 10 minutes. Strain and refrigerate until cold.
2. Stir in the lemon juice and serve over ice. Garnish with mint leaves.
Optional: If you like the taste of fresh ginger, you can add grated ginger in step 1.
